An investigative report from USA Today reveals that Drug Enforcement Agency seizes massive amounts of money from people without arrests or charges. The DEA claims the practice, known as asset forfeiture, targets “drug trafficking money” – but all too many innocent citizens are getting entangled. Former DEA agent Celerino Castillo tells RT America’s Manilla Chan that agencies often use seized assets to pad their bottom line.
